Welcome to what is to become the homepage of
Peter Waszkewitz
For the time being, I will just say that I am an engineer and love to program. I learned programming in Pascal and C, then did a lot of work with perl and over the last three years have grown more and more comfortable in Standard C++ (call it the luck of a late starter: I was thus fortunate enough to learn this language in a very advanced and standardized stage).
Until I find the time -- meaning, probably never -- to put this into some order, here is some source available for download. It has all been created and used on Windows 9x and 2000. I tried to keep it portable but lack of time -- again -- prevented so far the (re-)installation of a Linux system on my home PC and also extensive tests with GCC on the Windows platform. Sorry.
ssprintf function using a std::string
as target to have a dynamic buffer size available. It is not yet
complete for all flags and formatting possibilities but it offers an
additional %b format which outputs the bit pattern of an
integer value -- very useful when you are working in a field like
industrial communication or the like.
